This comic first came to apparition in the United States of America in their official Nintendo magazine, Nintendo Power. It was featured as a twelve piece extra each month throughout the year of 1992. So that�s Volume 32 to Volume 44. We then had it re-released to us through Zelda.com a few years back. It was then promptly taken down, along with the Player�s Guide for reasons unknown.

The comic book itself is very roughly based around the A Link to the Past video game released in the early 1990s; however, there are a few noticeable differences in the storyline as Link�s Uncle is a friend of Agahnim and there are many other inconstancies as well here or there. That being said, it does not detract the appeal of this comic book as it shows our hero in a more heroic light than ever, it also shows us a far longer version of the game than we have experience before.

Like the Zelda Mangas, the artist uses his own opinion on Zelda and then draws it around his own impressions of how Zelda should be, so this is certainly not canon and cannot be used within a timeline debate.
