The Majora�s Mask manga actually starts entirely differently to what the game starts of with. In the manga you�re in Hyrule, and you�re training with some soldiers, and that�s just the start of where the differences between the game and the manga start. By the twenty third page, the manga starts to fall into line with the game and we can start getting our baring again.
Another good thing about the manga is that the personality of Link from Ocarina of Time is also carried over to the Majora�s Mask manga, which is a good bit of continuity. The manga, as usual, has no canon information in it, although if you want to believe it, it does tell us that Navi is the �friend� that Link was looking for.
