Would You Like To Own Your Own Zelda Themed Stylus?

By Secre
On the 17 April, 2009, 11:24 pm

Shapeways, a company famous (not so much, I just wanted to say that xD) for making models of just about everything, has created two styli (styluses?) for your DS modeled after the Legend of Zelda franchise. One is shaped like the Master Sword, the other is a hookshot. Damned awesome if you ask me, though I wonder how comfortable holding those things would be.

Before you ask, I checked if they ship internationally. Their exact words were, "We ship to any and every country."

Majora's Mask now available on European Virtual Console

By Secre

Archaic Sage has asked me to make an exciting announcement that is probably already known to pretty much every Zelda fan by now. My favorite Zelda game ever, Majora's Mask, has come to the European Virtual Console. Now, if they'll just bring it to America, you may never see me again xD.

For those who don't remember, Majora's Mask is the Zelda game that made wearing masks sexy. Especially that Stone Mask. Rawr.

Majora's Mask on Japanese Virtual Console

By Archaic Sage
On the 28 March, 2009, 5:00 am

Every week a number of new games are released for the Virtual Console, these titles vary from ones back from the original NES days right up to the N64 era and WiiWare titles. It's been an incredibly long time coming, but the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console is now set to get The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask according to Nintendo of Japan's website.

As being reported on by Official Nintendo Magazine, this would indicate that there's a strong chance of this title being ported across to the UK and the USA. Very shortly as we already have the majority of the other Zelda games on the Virtual Console.

Good news all around then really.

New Zelda Game Unveiled Today

By Archaic Sage
On the 25 March, 2009, 2:53 pm

Today at the Game Developers Conference Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced a brand new Zelda game for the Nintendo DS. This new DS game will be based off of the Phantom Hourglass, and will use the same sort of control, graphics and basic engine; however, it has a brand new storyline and will feature new dungeons, towns and puzzles. The game will be "accessible" to all DS owners, which could mean that it'll be on the easy side like the Phantom Hourglass.

Currently there is no Japanese name, which is significant as it means the target audience in the West, and there's no release date yet planned for Spirit Tracks.

We still don't know much about the plot; however, we do know that the main overworld will be governed by a train rather than by horse or a boat and the map is currently predetermined. Yet it is not "on the rails" as many have stated.

Finally! Zelda news!

By brian2040
On the 25 March, 2009, 2:28 pm

It's been a long time, everyone, but now we have reason to be excited! There's a new Zelda coming out for the DS, and it's due for release this year. The working title right now is called Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. It's another Celda game, but it looks a lot... different. I'm updating this fresh off of finding out about this game from Secre, so I'm all pumped up even if it is different. Well, first off, it looks like it's returning to the 3rd person version Wind Waker was. Second, Link's transportation vehicle is a...train? Yes, and not only that, Link even has the engineer outfit to go with it. See for yourself...

Well, what do you think? We wanted a new Zelda, and we got a new Zelda. I am excited, and I can't wait to get it. The train thing doesn't bother me at all now that I looked at it. When I heard it on the phone it sounded weird, but it's not bad. There are more pictures on Joystiq.
