In an interview with the UK's Official Nintendo Magazine, mostly about Wii Music, Miyamoto has basically said the same thing he's been saying for a long time now. Except, now, we have a little bit of information involving our favorite series and E3. Here's what Miyamoto said in that interview:
"I'm really not sure when we'll be able to make a public announcement on that. I can't even say if the next E3 will be the right opportunity to do so. But rest assured, our teams are working on new projects right now."
That's great, Shiggy, but we want something new. Come on, I'll even take a less than fully developed screenshot. Please?

Recently Edge magazine sat down and interviewed the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto, the head honcho behind most of Nintendo's franchises and The Legend of Zelda. During their time with the videogame designer they discussed various subjects - but mostly the core-gamer hated Wii Music.
During this interview, Miyamoto stated again that the next Zelda game is currently being worked on, but he can't go into any further details. The most important bits regarding Zelda from the interview can be found below:
[zquote]You’ve covered sports, fitness and now music, all universally appealing subjects. Is it becoming more of a challenge to find new universal themes?
[Considers for a long time] Well, yes, it is challenging to find something universal but, after all, that’s my job as I see it. Until the time that I am in a position to tell you the next subject, we can only confirm that we are working on the next Mario and the next Zelda, etc.
In terms of new games, we need to stand with the potential customer’s viewpoint. Of course, we have new ideas in mind all the time, but the challenging part is whether they will really be widely appreciated by users.
Is it more difficult to develop games like Wii Music or Wii Fit than a more traditional game like Mario or Zelda?
In the case of Zelda or Mario, as a principle we make a point of using new technology that can create unique new features for them. In the case of finding a brand-new theme that is not traditionally categorised as a game theme, like Nintendogs or Wii Fit, we of course have to think about what is going to be appealing to the wider audiences.
Sometimes new technology emerges that makes us realise that we can tackle a new theme, but as far as my talent goes, it’s always the same. What I really try to do all the time is provide customers with something brand new – some new gaming experience. I think it’s simply the difference of the focus – am I focusing on technology or on theme? The natural challenge is always the same. As far as my attitude goes, the key point is whether I am enjoying doing what I’m doing or not.
That is important – after all, creating something is always a hardship, but, equalling the hardship, if I have the belief I am trying to create something new, that can give me the hope as well as the joy.[/zquote]

Zelda has always been a huge franchise, so huge in fact that when Nintendo and Phillips had a fall out over what was going to be the first CD videogame system that Phillips wanted to use Zelda on their console. Nintendo agreed to this, and subsequently they managed to create the three infamous Zelda CD-i games: The Wand of Gamelon, Link: Faces of Evil and Zelda's Adventure.
Well, the Angry Videogame Nerd has decided it's time he puts his opinon on these games, and one of them is below. He is very rude and uses bad languages, so this is not good to look at if you're young, your parents are around, you're at work or school. So you have been warned.

For an extended period of time now, BMB Finishes have been working on a Zelda film, entitled The Hero of Time. News first appeared about this movie about two years ago, and throughout 2006 we had news and updates about how well the progress was going. In 2007 everything seemed to halt, and many assumed that the movie was simply a fan movie and they had become bored of working on it.
However, we've now got a new trailer available, and the film which was originally being updated by our Ally site, Legends and Adventure, now has it's own website, which is available here.
You can see the latest trailer via our YouTube video below.

What kind of game do you think would be better than Ocarina of Time? Could it only be another Zelda game? Would it have to be another series altogether? Or is it possible that it can't happen?
Eiji Aonuma, Director of the Zelda series, as well as multiple others, thinks it's possible. In fact, he says that he's not going anywhere until he tops Ocarina of Time. Which can only mean one thing. The next Zelda game to be released will most likely be the most quality game in the series, or at least an attempt as such. Anyone else just doubled their love for the series?
While I'm at it, I might as well start a questionnaire. What do you think could make the next game in the series better than any other game? What do you hope to see? What do you hope disappears (Or dies, in the case of one character that no one seems to like >.>...)?
